REACH IDM stemmed from a number of projects with clients we need a way to deploy and control large format touch screens. Looking at what was available we were dismayed to find that the software was complicated, unreliable, hard to set up and produced layouts that were mediocre at best. This led us to design, develop and build our own system which we christened ReachIDM.
ReachIDM is a cutting-edge way of targeting and communicating with potential customers, harnessing the power of through glass touch screen technology. ReachIDM consists of an easy to use content management software (CMS) combined with a series of large format 42” plus multimedia touch screens. The reachIDM screens allow users to interact by touching the screen. Content for the screen can be configured to display a whole host of information, i.e for the Torquay Town Centres Company our reach system was configured to display simple and convenient local information, from event and entertainment listings to up-to-date local news and tourist information as well as details and news about the Torquay BID and local businesses.
Unlike most touchscreen CMS systems reachIDM software is easy to use and requires only basic computer skills. From a single control PC a single user can update and run one touch screen, or can via a normal broadband connection, run a whole host of distributed screens.
Reach also differs from most other CSM systems, as it combines digital advertising with a multimedia, touchscreen based, information system. This allows for reachIDM users to provide essential information to their customers but also allows for the possibility or deriving revenue from the screens.
Reach is a versatile and extendable Content Management and Content Distribution System for interactive touch screens that is completely customisable for any project.
